Mrs. Worth is pregnant and she becomes ill. Moll Bacon is told to help treat her. She tells Patience to go boil the water for the tea that will help Mrs. Worth. -

Mrs. Worth does not respond to people knocking at her door.
Mrs. Worth won't respond to Patience knocking and Patience finds help. Two men with a ladder came to the house and Ben Franklin climbed up and opened the window. He went in and found Mrs. Worth dead on the floor. -
Mr. Richard discovered that Mrs. Worth was poisoned.
Mr. Richard and Dr. Blackthorn discovered that she was poisoned by arsenic, but they didn't know who did it or how it was done. They thought that it was Moll, but Patience knew well that it wasn't. -
Patience runs away.
Patience over-hears Mr. Richard talking about selling her like a piece of merchandise to someone who will treat her poorly. He is just selling her to get rid of her. -
Patience is disguised as a Quaker girl.
Patience gets a costume from Ben and then she asks Ben's brother, James, for a job at his printer shop and he accepts it. She now has a secret place to sleep. -
Patience and Ben go to visit Moll.
Ben and Patience go to vistit Moll Bacon in prison to ask her question about the things she did to prove her innocence. -
Ben and Patience sneak into the house.
Patience and Ben sneak into the house to find the herbs and look for the money box. They sneaked pass the guard and found the bag of herbs, but not the box. -
Patience is noticed.
Mr. David walks into the printer shop and recognizes Patience. The constable apprehended her and was going to have her charged. -
Doctor Blackthorn discovers the source of the poisoning.
Ben and Patience get sick after sneaking into the house and then Ben remembers something that he read about candles being soaked in arsenic. The candles are tested and they were definitely soaked in arsenic. When they burn, the poisoning goes into the air. -
Mr. David is caught.
Ben and Patience start to put together the pieces and realize that Mr. David did it. He poisoned his aunt and his father so that he could inherit the money and property, so he is taken to jail and Mr. Richard becomes better. Ben and Patience receive money. -
Smallpox
The smallpox epidemic goes through Boston. There are arguments about the vaccination. -
James starts publishing.
Ben's brother, James, starts to publish The New England Courant. -
Ben becomes a vegetarian
Ben becomes a vegetarian so that he can save money and he doesn't like the taste of meat. -
Becomes a Diest
Ben becomes a thorough Deist. This means that he believes in a God that created this world, but has since left it. -
Ben takes over Courant
James goes to jail on contempt charges, so Ben takes over the Courant.
