-The RNWMP called for five hundred volunteers for an overseas cavalry unit
--Jack drove to PA to tryout
-Jack was denied because seven hundred men volunteered so they had more then they needed and due to his health he had to stay
-in 1917 the RNWMP were giving a go ahead on having a cavalry squad
-the phone in PA rang and it was for Jack.
-It was Polly, telling him she just arrived in Regina -

-He tells Polly he has to go to Rosthern for business and Polly could go with
- On the drive the car goes out of control so they stop to fix the tire, along they way Jack is shooting rabbits and geese
-After a bit Jack tells Polly they are going to meet Jessie and explain things to her together
-Jack pulls off onto a trail and shoots Polly Wilson in the head
- Jack tells people his car burnt down no one knew he was with Polly -
