The U.S. Supreme Court announced that it will review the Scottsboro Boys trial. -
Court Votes
The Supreme Court by a vote of 7-2, reverses the judgement of the boys in Alabama vs. Powell. The reason why is that the state of Alabama didn't provide the right amount of assistance of counsel, which was required by the 14th ammendment. -
Guilty
Haywood Patterson, one of the nine, was found guilty by trial of jury, and was sentenced to death in a eletric chair. -

The Alabama Supreme Court declared the convictions of Haywood and Norris (two of the boys). -

Two lawyers were charged for trying to bribe Victoria Price to change her story about being one of the rate victims. -
