Despite women working successfully during the war, many employers began to replace them with men after the battle was fought. Businesses believed that men still had the responsibility to be the main financial supporters, turning many female colleges toward "women professions." Women continued to earn less less than men, and never rose to manager level jobs. Inequality and discrimination became a clear pattern in the business world for women's daily lives. -
