Remilitarization of the Rhineland
The remilitarization of the Rhineland was for the most part reasonable and justifiable, because of the fact that the Treaty of Versailles was considered unfair to Germany. Therefore Britain and France did not act and push against Germany's need to expand. Britian did not push against it becuase they did not want to go to war again, and France had a weak government, as well wanted support (like Britian) before going against a upcoming powerful nation like Germany. -

USA embargo on oil to Japan
After the Manchurian Affair Japan sought to dominate the oil industry and acquire more oil, as well import less oil from the USA (80% of their oil was from the USA). Japen then forced their economy to making refineries for oil and get as much oil as they can. The Allies didn't like the aggressive oil policy Japan had so USA froze Japanese assets in the USA. Which resulted in Japan not being able to buy oil turning it into an embargo on oil by mistake. Resulting to the attack on Pearl Harbour.
