This treaty was a peace treaty between Germany and the Allied Powers after the World War I. -
The Global Depression begins
The Global Depression began because of the crash of Wall Street and it lasted until the late 1930s. Pepole all around the world were affected. -
Hitler becomes Chancellor of Germany
Hitler did it legally considering that his party was one of the most voted. He became the Chancellor thanks to some politicians that convinced the president. -
The Spanish Civil War
It was a conflict between Franco and his army -Nationalists- (supported by Hitler) and the Republicans. There were 200.000 people killed. -
Rome Berlin Axis: Hitler-Mussolini Alliance
In this axis, Germany and Italy proclaim their friendship and they decided to have the same points of view in international politics. -
Anschluss with Austria
This union was produced between Germany and Austria. Austria became a province of the III Reich, and it was called Ostmark. -
The Munich Agreement
It was signed by some countries with the aim of solve the Sudetenland crisis. They decided that the Sudetenland started to be part of Germany. -
Nazis invade Czechoslovakia
In a meeting, Hitler told Hacha (Czech president) he wanted to invade Czechoslovakia. Hacha agreed, so German troops occuped Czechoslovakia with no resistance. -
The Nazi-Soviet Non-Aggression Pact
The Soviets and the Nazis signed this pact, where they guaranteed both countries wouldn't attack each other. -
Nazis invade Poland
In this invasion there were more than 80.000 deaths. At the end, the Polish army was defeated. It lasted one month.
