The japanese attacked an army airforce base in Oahu, Hawaii, which the attack was planned for over a year. The time the japanese chose to attack was because mostly everyone would be asleep. Since the japanese planes were mistaken for U.S planes, people thought they were on a training drill. Although the japanese were patient and everything was well planned and strategized, over 2,000 people died and were 1,700 were injured. -
