    In france the city of Toulon was anti-revoulutionary. The city turned itself over to British, Spanish, and pro-Bourbon military. Paris lead a sige in Toulon, but failed. On December 17, they attacked the city and the British left the city, and the revolutonary troops occupied Toulon.

    The Egyptian Campaign occured in July 1, 1798 through August 23, 1799. Napoleon wanted to protect French trade and disrupt British trade routes to India. During this time Napoleon faught a few battles, His army become sick. On August 23 Napoleon left his army and took a few friends and decided to retun back to France

    After Napoleon abdicated the throne after his defeat in the Battle of Leipzig, he was sent to Elba. On February 26, Napoleon escaped from Elba and returned to Paris on March 20. In Paris he got supporters and became emperor again.
