The American’s won, because the British suffered and extensive amount of loses.

St Leger was the leader. The Americans dressed as best they could. The American colonies forced the British to surrender to Burgoyne’s force. This was the turning point of the war because the French joined us to help us fight.

    Morgan placed the Georgia and North Carolina militia in front of his line. With a further group of riflemen. His main line was on the first and higher hill and Washington’s horseback infantry were placed behind the hill. He had no guns. Morgan’s men had a night’s sleep and breakfast in their positions. Tarleton marched his force onto the battlefield and attacked immediately. His first move was to send the 17th Light to disperse the riflemen.

    The Battle of York Town sprung out. The U.S had almost 21,000 soldiers and the British had only 9,000 soldiers. This way we had the big advantage. The U.S soldiers were led by General George Washington, while the British were being led by General Comte de Rochambeau. This happened in Yorktown, Virginia. We won this battle. The significant of this battle is that it is the end of the Revolutionary war.
