American colonists did not have these rights, in result, they rebelled against England for independence.

    the french and indian war was fought mostly over the Ohio river valley, but it was also fought all across the globe.The french and indians were trying to fight to defend the British from taking over the indians land. The British ended up winning and got all of the Ohio river valley which made the colonist want to move there but the king didn't allow it.
