  • Civil war Amendments

    Civil War amendments were similar rights that gave African Americans certain freedoms in order to live. We were given the 13th, 14th, and 15th amendments after the war. The 13th abolished slavery, but still whites tried to find a loophole. The 14th had rights for all citizens and gave them equal protections. The 15th had only voting rights for the Black men, but not the women.
  • Lincoln dead

    Lincoln was assassinated in the theater and is now replaced by Andrew Johnson.
  • 13th Amendment

    Passed by Congres on January 31, 1865, and ratified on December 6, 1865, the Amendment abolished slavery in the United slavery
