  • Proclamation of Amnesty and Reconstruction

    The Proclamtion of Amnesty and Reconstruction othw wise known as the Ten-Percent Plan was used to pardon Confederates except the Confederates that were high-ranking officers and generals. And it was used to have the Conderates to have an allegiance with the Union.

  • Wade-Davis Bill

    This Bill was made by Radicals to respond to the Ten-Percent Plan. This bill was made so that it would make the Congress respondsible for the Reconstruction instead of the President.

  • Growing of The Freedman's Bureau

    The continuation and enlargement of the Freedman's Bureau voted on by Congress. This assits the former slaves and poor whites in the South in the last remaining month of the war.

  • Civil Rights Act of 1866

    This was made to restrict African American and create the black codes. These restricted Afican Americans from carrying weapon being in juries, marrying whites, traveling without a permit, or vocally fighting with whites.

  • The Fourteenth Amendment

    This amendment was made to where anyone that was born in the United States had equal protection of the law. And restricted Confederates from being able to have a federal desk unless aloud.
