In the play his reign is very short. It is never stated how long it was but from the sequence of events it can be inferred that it was short. 3) In history Macbeth was not a blood-thirsty, crazy person. He was not an evil king. In the play he will kill anyone that has a chance at the throne.

They met at Dunsinnan. Macbeth's army lost more than the english, but still won. Siward retreats to England where he will die before he can attack again. Up until Macbeths death he will be under constant attack from the English.

Macbeth is killed by Malcolm. He is buried on the Holy Isle of Iona.
