Homecoming Football Game
Charlie goes to the high school football game where he meets Sam and Patrick. They befriend him and then take him out to eat after the game. -
Charlie Goes to a Party
Sam and Patrick take Charlie to Bob's house for his first party. Charlie eats a weed brownie and gets high and then catches Patrick and Brad hooking up. Charlie hears someone call him a wallflower for the first time. -
Chris Doesn't Come Home
Charlie was looking forward to seeing his brother at Thanksgiving but he called and told them he did not have time to come home. Charlie's mom was very upset and took him shopping for new clothes, but the whole family ended up watching a tape of one of his football games. -
Secret Santa Party
Charlie goes to Sam and Patrick's house along with Mary-Elizabeth, Alice, and Bob. Patrick got Charlie a suit so he could look like all the great writers. Sam tells Charlie she loves him and got him a typewriter. Sam and Charlie kiss in her room because she tells him his first kiss should be from someone who loves him.
