Pony walked on the street by himself .The Soc drove a car and stopped beside him. They want to cut Pony’s hair. The greasers came and fought with the Socs. The reason that I think is that it’s important to begin showing the Socs and the Greasers are hostile relationship to us. At the same time shows that the greaser is in a disadvantage state. -
Darry and Pony' relationship
When Pony came back home from the cinema, Darry is too angry to control himself because Ponyboy came back to late. Darry slapped Pony and Pony ran away. I think it is important because I know all of Darry, Soda and Pony without parents. Darry was living heavy pressure and has bad temper, but Darry still worriedd about Pony. Their lives have many differences. It is also show us their relationship is not very good. -

Dally, Johnny and Pony went to the cinema, and Dally molested Cherry, but Johnny stopped Dally. Dally was angryed they help the Socs, so he run away. I can know Dally’s personility from this thing, not very bad but not very good. I also know both Pony and Johnny are good person -
Darry and Pony’s relationship

This event promotes the development of the plot of the book. The contradiction between the Socs and the Greasers formed the maximization. -
Run away
Pony and Johnny went to the saloon to find Dally after they killed Bob. Dally gave them a sum of money and told them how to get to the abandoned church. I think although Dally is a bum but he is very handout spirit. From this we can see his nature is not bad. This is the reason why I choose this event. -

Johnny did not want to see his Mom
Johnny’s Mom knew his news from the newspaper and went to the hospital to see him but Tow-Bit and Pony stopped his mother. Through this thing I know Johnny’s mother’s personality is so bad. Johnny grew up in a bad environment. His father is an alcoholic and his mother is addicted to gambling but Johnny still kept a kind heart. -
The final victory
The socs and the greasers decided to fight with each other. At the end of the fight, the greaser won. It is the most important thing in this book. All the greasers know the end cannot change anything, but they still want to prove themselves, want to fight for Johnny. They know that even if they poor and the family condition is not very good, but they have good personality, they use their live in the world. All the reader believed that they will win at the end of this fight. -

Dally can’t stand the fact that Johnny was dead. He take a gun without bullet and threaten the police. At the end , the police killed him。From this I know Dally was a Individual character make public is heavy feeling heavy righteousness person -
Pony was ill
Pony was ill after he saw Dally was dead front himself. When he waked up he asked Soda whether he said Darry's name when he was sleep because he said eyeryone' nema. He was afraid Darry felt trouble. I think it is important because althougt theier relation is not vey good, but Pony still care about Darry. He is can’t stand to lose everyone whose in the greasers. -

Read a letter
Pony read a letter addressed to him befor Johnny died. The reason that I think it is important Pony was not very sad because he knew Johnny was looked forward to a place without fight and pain, everything is perfect there .The only thing he want to do is blessing. -
