Cyclops
The cyclops Polyphemos lives in his cave with sheep. Odysseus and his crewman went in for shelter and food when they met Polyphemos. Polyphemos didn't like them being in his cave so he decided to eat some of them men. After he hate a few men of Odysseus they put him to sleep and stabbed his eye that way he couldn't see them. They quickly left the island and never returned. -

Aeolus
Odysseus sails to an island called Aeolia. It is home to the wind god Aeolus. Aeolus entertains Odysseus and his crew for a month. He gave them food, shelter, and water. Then once they were about to leave Aeolus gave Odysseus a bag of winds to blow them back to Ithaca once they got to a certain point. His crew opened the bag thinking it was gold and silver and then they were blown all the way back to Aeolia.
