John Dalton's Model
His model was first described in 1803, his model was also called the Billiard Ball. Dalton was born in Eaglesfield, England, 1766. He died in Manchester, United kingdom because of a stroke in 1844 on July 27. He had a minor stroke in 1838 and he lost his voice and never spoke again. -
JJ Thompson's model
JJ Thompson's was called the Plum Pudding, he discovered the electron. Thompson was born in 1856 in Manchester, England and died in Cambridge, England. He was also the teacher of another atom model maker: Niels Bohr. -
Ernest Rutherford's Model
Rutherford proved that JJ Thompson's model was incorrect, so Rutherford used his model and made his own. He also discovered the Proton. -
Niel's Bohr's Model
Bohr and Rutherford both made and designed the Bohr model, with Rutherford's model. Niels Bohr was a student of JJ Thompson. He was born in 1885 in Copenhagen, Denmark. He died in 1962 in Copenhagen, Denmark. -
The Quantum model
In 1926 Erwin Schrödinger, took Niels Bohr's model and advanced it. He found out that the electron is always in the middle of an atom. He was born on the 12th of August in 1887. He died on January 4 1961 at the age of 73. He was born and he died in Vienna, Austria.
