On Earth, in Ohio, it is winter. There is a rocket getting ready to take off to Mars. -
YLLA
We are on Mars on this chapter. We met two marctians Mr. and Mrs. K. They faught a lot. Mrs. K had dreams about humans coming to her planet and talking to her. Mr. K gets angry and jealous and goes and kills them when they land. -
The Summer Night
More astronauts are coming to Mars. The Mars people know because through their telepathy they can hear the thoughts of the astronauts. -
The Earth Men
Four men from Earth have landed on Mars. The Martians do not ccare that they came from a different planet. The Martians are rude. The earth men want to be recognized and celebrated. Instead, they get passed along from person to person, until they end up in an insane asylum, where there are Martians claiming to be from Earth also. Mr. Xxx believes the other three men are hallucinations, and shoots the Captian, then shoots the other men, then shoots himself thinking he is hallucinating. -
The Taxpayer
Things are getting way more intence on Earth with the war, so people want to go to Mars. -
The Third Expedition
The third expidition landed on Mars. When the 16 men landed, they landed in a town that liike like an Earth town. They begin seeing their family members, that are supposed to be dead. While laying in bed, the Captin realizes what is happening, that the Martians are playing with their minds using Telepathy, and, while trying to leave, gets killed by who was supposed to be his brother. During the night, all 16 men were killed. -
And The Moon Be Still As Bright
Twenty men landed on Mars for the fourth expedition. They found out that humans are responsible for killing off the Martians by giving them Chicken Pox. Spender comes back, claming to be a martian, and shot four men, plus Biggs. After that, the captin killed Splinder, shot him right in the chest. -
The Settlers
Earth Men are begining to come to Mars. -
The Green Morning.
Benjamin Driscoll has planted seeds for the last four weeks, and is waiting for rain to come. When the rain did come, it took one night and all of the thousands of trees he had planted were fully grown. -
Interim
They are building town's on Mars that look exactly like Earth towns. -
Night Meeting
Tomas has an encounter with a Martian, but they could not touch, and they could not see the same things. One was mostlikely living in the Future, where-as the other if from the past. -
The Shore
Two waves of men that come to Mars. The first men that come are building, or farming. Laying the ground work for people to come live. The second, are from the city. -
The Musicians
Children go hiking into an old martian town, and play with the dead martian bodies as if they were fall leaves. And the bones as if they were musical toys. -
Way in the Middle of the Air
All of the blacks from the South are going to Mars. In order to make sure everyone gets to go to Mars. Everyone is helping everyone else pay off old debts. Mr. Teece doesn't like the blacks. -
The Naming of Names
All of the things on Mars have Earth names, it is just like Earth. People are trying to push government on Mars. -
Usher II
Stendahl builds a house based on a book by Poe. He built it because all of the books that were not non-fiction, were burnt. When Moral Climants sends Mr. Garrett to tell Stenahl they have to destroy the house, Stenahl has a robot kill him then sends a robot, that looks just like Garrett, back to Moral Climants to buy Stenahl some time with the house. Guests start comming to see his house. Stenahl killed everybody. The government coming to Mars to change things is the main point of this story -

Old people begin coming to Mars. -

Earth is at War. People from Mars are going back to help. -
The Silent Towns
Walter Gripp seems to be the only person left on Mars. He didn't know about the War, and that everyone left, because he lived in the Martian Hills and only came down every two weeks. Walter finds out he isn't the only human left. He met Gineveve, but he didn't really like her. So he ran away. -
The Long Years
A man and his wife and three children are some of the last ones on Mars. A rocket comes with people on it. The man dies, and the captian and men on the ship find out his wife and three children are robots. -
The Million-Year Picnic
A family went to Mars. They could no longer gain comunication with Earth. They were waiting for a handful of other people. They are going to start over life on Mars, since Earth was gone, and no one was left on Mars.
