The first camera invented was made by a man named, Alexander Wolcott. His specific camera design was made on May 8th 1840. His invention made it possible for photos to be taken but let the photo to stay visible instead of fading away. Yes, there were other inventions of the camera before this but they all faded away, this is a way better invention. This led to 'the making of the modern' because if it were not for this invention we would not be able to share our photos with family and friends. -

For example internet would not be possible without the invention of the telephone and we also would not have our smartphones which we use all the time. Therefore this invention has helped us communicate way better than before as we had telegrams and other types of methods that were less efficient than now. -

It was Thomas Edison who officially invented the first partially electrically powered light bulb. This helped 'the making of the modern world' because it allowed workers from all over the world to continue work into the night just due to a better quality source of light. This means that work would be done more efficiently as they are given more time to work on it. In the today's society would help doctors for when they are performing surgery on a patient to get a better view on the problem. -

This has contributed to 'the making of the modern world' because now we have really fast cars and other types of vehicles like planes, motorbikes, helicopters, boats and the list could go on forever. We can now get to our wanted destinations 100x faster than walking or running, which is way more efficient as there might be an emergency, so the quicker you can get to the hospital the better. -
