The Munich Pact
- This was an agreement permitting the Nazi German annexation of Czechoslovakia's Sudetenland.
- The agreement was signed in the early hours of 30 September 1938, The purpose of the conference was to discuss the future of the Sudetenland.

- Hitler first took over Austria, the he moved Czechoslovakia to the top of his list, once the Czechs caught word of this they made a treaty with Russia then moved their soldiers to their borders.
- Czechoslovakia began to fall apart then a confence was held, the Munich Pact was signed. This said that Hitler was given 50% of Czechoslovakia and the other remained Czechoslovakia.

- Hitler did this because he was planning to invade Poland and he didn't want the Soviet's to join Poland against them.
- He also did this so the Soviet's wouldn't plan on an early attack on Germany during their attempt to become the new world power.

- The Phony War was a phase in early WWII in a few months after Britain and France's declaration of war on Germany.
- The term "Phoney War" was possibly coined by U.S. Senator William Borah who stated, in September 1939: "There is something phoney about this war."

- This event happened during the Battle of France when at the end France fell to Germany.
- The Battle of france started when Germany invaded Franch and some other low countries and put an end to the phoney war.

- This event was the evacuation of Allied soldiers from the beaches and harbour of Dunkirk & France.
- The evacuation was ordered because British, French, and Belgian troops were cut off by the German army during the Battle of Dunkirk.

- The Battle of Britain was the name given to the World War II air campaign waged by the German Air Force against the UK in 1940.
- The main purpose of this battle was to gain air superiority over the Royal Air Force, especially Fighter Command.
