Rodeo
Marcia takes Sophia to a rodeo for a girls night out while she is recovering from a recent break-up. -
Luke Collins
Sophia's ex-boyfriend Bryan followed her to the rodeo. He follows her outside and trys to talk to her but she wants nothing to do with him. He is drunk and angry and ignores Sophia. Luke Collins sees Bryan grabbing Sophia and comes to help her out. This is when they first meet. -
The First Date
The day after the rodeo Luke invites Sophia to his ranch. He shows her around and explains all of the jobs he has to do. They talk and get to know each other. Luke takes Sophia horse back riding through the trails around his ranch. -
The Second Date
Sophia was going to show Luke around Wake Forest campus but Bryan found out she was seeing Luke so they decided to go for Sushi at Sakura (a Japanese Restaurant). Then Luke took Sophia to the lake at his ranch while they sat under the stars and got to know each other more. -
Knoxville
Luke rides in his final event of the year and finished in 9th place. -
Sophis meets his mom
Sophia goes over to Luke's house for dinner and to meet his mom, Linda Collins. Sophia learns a lot about Luke's life and gets to know his mom really well. -
The Truth
Luke finally tells Sophia alittle about his past with the bull Big Ugly Critter. He explained that when riding Big Ugly Critter he was flown off and knocked unconscious. The bull dragged him around the arena. Luke had dislocated his shoulder but that was the least of his worries. He was badly injured and ended up in the ICU for a while. This is a big step in their relationship because Luke never talks about what happened. -
Christmas in Jersey
Luke visits Sophia and her family for Christmas in New Jersey. -
First BIG fight
Sophia and Luke get into a big fight after Luke continues to ride bulls even though symptoms of his injury reoccur and she refuses to let him do something dangerous and potentially fatal. They don't talk at all for 2 weeks. Sophia also finds out that her best friend, Marcia, is now dating her ex-boyfriend, Bryan. -
Sophia finds out
After not talking to Luke for multiple days, she googles his accident to see for herself how bad it actually was. It was realllllly bad. She threathens to end their relationship if he doesn't stop riding again. He feels obligated to ride to help his mom financially and they break up. -
Big Ugly Critter
Luke goes to the bull-riding event to ride in the championship. He makes it to the final round and is in the number one position. He draws his bull last and gets Big Ugly Critter again and must decide whether to ride him again or walk away. -
Luke Returns
Luke comes home and decides he's done with bull riding for good and him and Sophia get back together. -
Ira levinson
While Luke and Sophia are on their way to Luke's cabin, they see a car that has rolled off the road and down an embankment. They go down the hill and find an old man named Ira in the car. He keeps talking about a letter to his wife that he wants them to find. They eventually get help and Ira is taken to the hospital. Sophia grabs the letter he asked for. -
Ira Levinson pt 2
Luke and Sophia find out that Ira has pasted away at the hospital due to injuries from the accident. -
Art Show
Sophia gets ticket to an art gallery in Greensboro, North Carolina. It turns out that Ira had set up this auction before he died. Luke buys Sophia a painting of a women who they learn is Ruth, Ira's wife. They also get a special surprise along with the painting. -
Luke Proposes
Luke asks Sophia to marry him and she agrees.
