Sister Irene was martyred by the terrorist group Shining Path for helping the poor in Peru. All five people were lined up to be killed and Sister Irene was first to be shot. -
Sr Irene's Funeral
Sr Irene's body was taken from the people of Peru and she was given a proper ceremony along with the other 4 victims.
