  • Birthday!

I was born at 5:45 at night, one week early.
  • Arthritis

When I was seven years old I was diagnosed with Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis. It affected my hands, elbows, shoulders, knees, and ankles. When I was a kid, it was pretty bad, and it still affects me to this day.
  • New brothers

My brother had a best friend named Isaac. They were like brothers throughout elementary school, so when Isaac and his little brother Christian got taken away from their mom my parents were quick to step up and take them in. They moved in with us and I grew up with three older brothers to protect me.
  • Loss

    Loss
When I was in sixth grade, Isaac and Christian were allowed to move back in with their mom. They went on a vacation with their family to Las Vegas, Christian died on that trip. That day changed me forever
  • Guard

    Guard
In middle school, I joined this little thing called color guard. Little did I know that I was joining the thing that would impact my life the most.

  • High School

When I started high school my brothers were seniors, this was the first time we were in the same school since elementary.
  • Marching band

High school band and color guard is very different from middle school. It was hard to transition into it but I still loved doing so much, even though I felt like I knew nothing
  • Senior year

    Senior year
This is my senior year, I am doing so many things for the last time and it's scary. I don't know what I'm doing half the time but I try, and that's what matters, right?
  • College

When I graduate I hope to go to college straight away. I will most likely go to school in Colorado to study medicine.

    Future

  • College life

I'm a shy person, I feel like I will struggle to make friends but the ones that I do will last a lifetime.
  • On the road

    On the road
I want to become a pediatrician, something that will take a long time to achieve.
  • Graduation

This may be the end of college but I am nowhere near done yet. It could take up to 11 years for me to become a pediatrician.
  • Pediatrician

When I finally complete my residency I can now officially call myself a pediatrician. I hope to specialize in rheumatoid so that I can help kids like me with arthritis or other diseases like it.
  • Family

    Family
One really important thing to me is family. I want to start one of my own, and hopefully, that is in my future.
