    Marie Curie created a stationary cart that contained and X-ray machine, which would help locate the source of injuries for soldiers in WWI. Curie had a long term impact in the medical field. She developed the use of X-rays with her discoveries; they are still used today. They are very important to find the source of pain. X-rays were used in WW1 to help the injured more efficiently. There are X-rays in every single hospital today.
