Malala born
Malala was born in Swat, Pakistan on July 12th, 1997 -
9/11
9/11 is relevent, because it was what got the Taliban, including the Taliban in Pakistan, into it's own war with America. Pretty soon, this conflict will lead to bad things. -
Kushal (Malala's brother) was born
I am not sure the exact date and time of Kushal's birth. But I am sure that he was born in 2002 and is now 14. -
Atal was born
And similar to Kushal, I am not sure of the exact date of birth. But again, I am sure that he was born in 2006. The same year I was born! -
Attempted assasination of Malala
In a school bus, a Taliban man burst on and yelled Malala's name. She was shot in the face, which went through her neck, and settled in her shoulder. -
Big surgery
Malala had half of her skull removed (in the area where she got shot), so they could make room for the brain to swell. She was also put into an induced coma right after the surgery -
On to Germany!
On October 11th, They brought Malala to Germany, where they had more advanced technology, and would be in better hands. -
Moved AGAIN!
Malala was moved a couple of days later from a hospital in Germany (not sure of name), to Quenn Elizabeth hospital in Birmingham, where she spent most of her hospitalized time. -
Out of coma
On October 17th, 2012 Malala was out of her coma, but still often slept, and sometimes semmed in state of coma. -
Out of the hospital!!
On January 3rd, 2013, Malala was fianlly able to leave the hospital. She still needed to stay in Birmingham though, because she was -
UN speech and 16th birthday
This was a major milestone in her life, when she was giving a speech at the United Center
