Poe was sent to boarding school by his foster "dad". He sent him because he didn't want to be judge for what he was doing every single night. He only gave him money to go to the school and not for food clothes or anything else . -

Poe moved in with his aunt.He caught feelings for his little cousin. They got married. He started getting TB and eventually died. Poe heart was broken. He gave up on women after that.
