Angelina wrote a pamphlet called 'Appeal to the Christian Women of the South' in 1836, talking about how people should use their moral force against slavery. -
Marriage
Angelina got married to abolitionist Theodore Weld. -
Touring the City
Angelina and her sister Sarah toured New York and New Jersey and other places in order to share their beliefs on women's rights and anti¬slavery. -
Burning of the Convetion Hall
Angelina's Anti-¬Slavery speaking career came to an end the night in Philadelphia when the convention hall got burned down due to the Anti-slavery meeting going on and mobs not liking what Angelina had to say about slavery, but she continued writing books and pamphlets. -
Public Speaking
Angelina made history because she was the first women to speak in front of a legislative body in the US. -
Career
Angelina then on had a career in teaching at schools established by her husband. -
Death
Angelina Grimke died because she became paralyzed from the amount of strokes she had. -
Hall of Fame
Angelina Grimke was inducted into the ‘National Hall of Fame.
