The Start Of Her Career

To support herself she pursued modeling. Rambert soon disapointed Hepurn telling her that her poor nutrition and tallness had come in the way of her dream of becoming a prima ballerina. Her First Main Role
After casting in minor role positions, Audrey had been casted to play the lead role in Broadway rendition of Gigi. It opened at Fulton theatre and ran for 219 performances. It was even performed in Los Angeles and San Francisco. Although, her first significant performance was in the film, "Secret People" which was release just a year later! In this film she played a ballerina, and did her own dancing. -
