The Birth of Martin Luther
On the 10th of November 1483, Martin Luther was born in Eisleben, Germany to Hans Luther (Father) and Margarethe Luther (Mother). -

The Thunderstorm, and the Promise
On the 2nd of July 1505 Luther was caught up in violent thunderstorm. He swore that if God saved him from the storm he would become a monk. He claimed;
"Help! Saint Anna, I will become a monk!" -

On the 17 of July Luther joined a monastery in Erfurt, he became an Augustinian monk. -

While Luther was returning home, Fedrick the Wise, kidnapped him and held him at Wartburg Castle. -
