Many states wanted to prevent tribes likes the Cherokees from making their own government within state borders. In 1828, Georgia passed a law declaring that all Indians in the state must be governed by state laws. Supreme Court declared it unconstitutional, however Jackson did not agree. -

President Jackson waged war on the Bank of the United States. He believed that it was too strong, so in the end he vetoed it. -
