    The allies fought against the central powers for four years. In all of the combat there were 18 million deaths and 23 million people were injured. On the 11/11/1918 at 11am the armistice was signed, thus concluding the war.

    The treaty of Versailles was signed on the 28th of June in 1919. This limited Germany to 100,000 men in their army and Germany had to pay seven million pounds in reparations

    In the 1920’s Jazz was found only in person, but in New Orleans that was changed, thanks to the introduction of Jazz radio. Jazz music could be broadcast from the US to all over the world. This was the first time Jazz went “on air”
