President Truman dedicates the American ground troops to help fight off the North Koreans. -
Inchon Landing
The United Nations organizes the first multinational attack in North Korea, in an operation that would be led by the United Sates. This risky invasion was a success, and turned the tide of the war, because now many allied troops were deep nehind enemy lines. -

North Korea Retreats!
After the Inchon Landing, and many allied troops movinf up from South Korea, North Korea was in a full retreat, and was nearing the borders of China. -
China Aids North Korea
China officialy joins the war to aid North Korea's fight for communism, but quickly retreats from the advancing American forces. -
China Strikes Back
China sends 260,000 soldiers charge into Korea to aid the North Koreans against the rapidly advancing American army. -

U.S. Retreats
Chinese forces send the U.S. on the longest retreat in moder military history, and forces them all the way back to the 38th Parallel. -
The Armistice
After several years of fighting on the 38th Parallel both sides agree to an armistice, creating the nations of North and South Korea. One being under Communist rule, and another a free Democracy.
