Amir,Baba,Hassan and Ali lived in Kabul.

Amir and Hassan had a bond, just like how Baba and Ali also had a bond.Hassan's first word was Amir.Hassan and Ali are Hazaras,whom also are Baba and Amir's servants.

Amir and Hassan hang out together but couldn’t be friends.

Amir and Hassan couldn’t be friends because Hassan was a Hazara and Amir was a Pashtun, but a Sunni can’t be friends with a Pashtun. Hassan was also Amir’s servant.

Assef threatened Amir,But Hassan stood up for him.

Amir finally wins Baba’s acceptance because he proved to Baba he can accomplish something. Baba finally then opens up to Amir and provides him with attention.

Hassan is raped by Assef

Hassan is raped by Assef as a punishment for standing up for Amir. As Hassan is being raped Amir stands at the ally and witnessed this and does nothing because he is a coward .Between Amir and Hassan, Hassan with always be “the lamb to the slaughter”.

Amir sets up Hassan to look like a theif.

Hassan finally tells his father about what happened ,Ali is disgusted and plans to leave. On the way out Ali doesn’t view Amir the same way anymore. At the end two great bonds have ended.

Amir is finally getting a chance to leave his past behind and go to America to start a new page. Amir always finds a way to run from his problems. While Hassan and Ali are nowhere to be found in Kabul.

Amir returns to Afghan to pay for his sins ,he’s going to do something for himself find courage and to grow out of being that coward he’s known as. He’s going to save little Sohrab so he can be good again.
