("Law to Remedy the Distress of People and Reich"), was a law that granted the German Cabinet and the Chancellor the power to change and create the laws without the permission or involvement of Reichstag.

    Adolf Hitler declared that he would rearm Germany and breach the Treaty of Versailles. Hitler announced that Germany had already begun to create an airforce and revealed plans to re-instate conscription and create an army of half a million soldiers.
