Benito Mussolini
Mussolini rose to power in Italy in 1922, creating a fascist government. Mussolinis power ended in 1943. Italy's unemployment rates were reduced, industry and agriculture improved, prid increased etc. however the standard of living had not been improved. -

Josef Stalin was a ruler of a communist power in Russia. He lost his power in 1953. There was stability however no real growth. -

29 October 1929 was the day the stock market crashed, as well as the official day the Great Depression started. -

Adolf Hitler
Adolf Hitler rose to power in 1933. He killed 12 + million, particulary Jews. He got rid of the Treaty of Versaiiles and restored Germany's pride and economy. His power ended in 1945 when he commited suicide. -

Francisco Franco
In 1939 Franco took control of Spain, leading a fascist rule. Like Russia there was stability but no real growth.The corporate state and autarky prevented economic growth and trade. Franco lost his power in 1975. -

Hideki Tojo
Tojo rose to power in 1941 in Japan. While he was ruling Japan lost WWII and was forced to surrender with two atomic bombs. Tojo was froced to retire in 1944 and was executed as a war criminal in 1948.
