In 1994 bobby not only learned how to ski with a guide but he made the U.S disabled ski team. How bobby first started skiing was when his friend told him they are looking for some more spots on the disabled ski team, and at that time that was all bobby could do. -

Bobby's dialysis routine
Right after bobby put his name on the list for a kidney and pancreas, he bagan to get his dialysis routine down. His routine was: skiing in the morning and dialysis in the afternoon. This routine was simple and hard at points in his life it was 3 days a week for 3 hours. Bobby explained how he needed to stay in shape because the transplant is going to happen. " im going to get fresh organs and go ski again", he explains. -

Kidney failure
After joing the the disabled ski team, two years later bobby began experiencing some symptoms of kidney failure such as; Vomiting, and fluid retention. Then bobby was asked to be on the U.S disabled ski team that was exciting for bobby. Not long till bobby began to feel sick again and not only was he sick but it was the day of the World Championship Games. The doctor recomended dialysis. That was to the point where some people might quit and say again? but bobby went on with a positive attitude. -
