    László Jozsef Bíró invented the ball-point pen in 1938. He found that the thick ink would not flow through the pen, so he added a small ball to the end.

    The pen has come very far, from a reed forward. Right now, you can buy any kind of pen, from a fountain pen to a gel-point pen.
