The History of the Earth

    Birth of Sun

    Birth of Sun
It started off as the gas moved around the galaxy. As the star expelled and the shock wave caused the gas to collapse, resulting in the creation of the sun with a disk around the sun.

    Earth’s Core Formation

    Earth’s Core Formation
When different materials collided in space, it caused the hearth to heat up and due to that heat, the rock and metal melted. These melted materials separated into layers and gravity pulled the denser material into the center. The light part rose to the surface. This is why the core of the earth is mostly made out of iron.

    Formation of the Moon

    Formation of the Moon
When an asteroid, the size of Mars smashed into Earth, the enormous amount of energy melted most of the Earth. This caused the melted asteroid and the Earth to be thrown into orbit. As time flew, these materials smashed together to form the moon. The gravitational pull of the Earth and gravitational push of the moon is what keeps the moon in a circular orbit.

    Planetary Cooling of Earth

    Planetary Cooling of Earth
At first, when the earth was created, it had rivers of melted rocks and lava flows. Gradually, as Earth started to cool down, it created a solid surface, and the gases related by the volcanoes created the atmosphere. The atmosphere became denser, causing rainfall/water, and later on, the earth had oceans. This first stage of atmosphere and ocean was the basics of what we have nowadays.

    End of Heavy Bombardment

    End of Heavy Bombardment
This period was when the activities and collisions, there wasn't any trace of a major collision on earth. Basically, big collisions like the creation of a new planet marked the end.

    End of Hadean Eon

    End of Hadean Eon
The Hadean Eon was when the solar system was formed from gas and dust, which became asteroids, comets, moons, and planets. After this Eon, the Archean era starts, when Earth has sign of living creatures and life forms.
