The Pinhole camera
The first pinhole camera was discovered in the 1500`s (month and day is unknown). The camera is described as being a enclosed box with a tiny hole placed on the side. When light is allowed through the tiny hole, an image or object outside of the hole is projected through the other side of the box. Pictures from the pinhole camera come out much softer because the outines are not as sharp. -
The Daguerreotype camera
In the 1830`s (date and month is unknown) Louis-Jacques-Mandé Daguerre and Nicéphore Niépce discover that a copper plate coated in silver iodide and pressed with a solution would make the image permanment. This camera was great for taking potraits. -
