They assumed that the aboriginals did not own the land and would step aside. effect Aboriginal people are no longer the only inhabitants . the French were stopped from colonising Australia. He bought 7 rams and 3 ewes and arrived to Sydney with them in 1805. The sheep were merinos, which was a breed of fine-woolled sheep, originaly from spain.

    1820- The British government had claimed Western Australia. Captain Starlings landed at the mouth of the swan river, He established the swan river colony which is now Perth. Now all of Australia is claimed as British. Effect Britin could take over and could rule over very badly.

    In England , the report said that convicts appeared to have a general wish for transportation. It appears that no matter how the British government tries , criminals in England think Australia could be a new chance for them.
    Effect
    Convicts and criminals were taking too much of the land and could treat it like their london.

    cause At the end of transportation to Australia, by that time 150,000 convicts have been sent to the colonies. All of the convicts have now been sent to Vandemons land. Effect At the end of transportation to QLD all the convicts filled the colony up so now they have to go to the colony of Vandemons land (now known as Tasmania).
