    The Catholic Church

    The Church has been known in the past to use unlawful violence to repress, terrify and promote a Religious and Political agenda. Whilst often not seen as a terrorist organisation or group, both in the past, and allegedly in the present, the Church has used terror tactics to promote their views upon the world. A Religious, State sponsored and Political organisation. Also Tom made a good argument for it so I emulated him.
  • The Gunpowder Plot

    The plot to blow up the English Parliament and King James the 1st of England and Scotland by a group lead by Robert Cateseby. The plot failed when Guy Fawkes was discovered guarding 26 barrels of gunpowder, enough to level the building, and the other members were left running from authorities.
    It was political.

    Use of gorilla tactics and terror to influence the Irish people to rebel against the English and Free them from their grasp

    The Muslim Brotherhood

    A group of Muslim extremists in Egypt, specifically Cairo who use violence and corruption to push their distorted view of Islam upon the peoples of Egypt. Has been sponsored in the past by Saudi Arabia to force a more strict Islamic life. A Religious group now, and in the past State Sponsored.

    An Islamic extremest group who believe that the land of Palestine and modern day Israeli should be given to it's rightful owners, the Islamic states, and use violence and terror attacks such as suicide bombers to achieve their goals. A Religious terrorist group.

    Lead by Osama Bin Laden, the group was and is trying to spread it's belief that the West should be punished for its crimes against the Muslim world, and that all Muslims should take up arms against their enemy. Famous for the 9/11 attacks

    A Extremest Islamist group with intentions to prove the might of the middle eastern countries against the West, and take back the Holy land that they believe was unlawfully stolen. Known for their many attacks in the middle east against Muslims and many minorities.

    An Afghan Islamic group that emerged after the cold War that went from being a milita to a governing group to an insurgence group, who try to impose a strict Sharia law upon the people in the Afghanistan region. A Religious and Political group.
