  • The UK colonizes Soarland

    The UK colonizes Soarland
    A group of explorers were travelling to Ireland from Great Britain and Wales in 1763. The leader of this group was Phillip Desoar. They instead ran into this mysterious island. They realised that none lived here, and asked the king if they could colonize it. The group named it after Desoar.
  • The Discovery of Emeralds

    The Discovery of Emeralds
    Carter Ronald was on exploring the island of Remeriz and come across a patch of land which was covered in glimmering green crystals. This important, because Emeralds are the country mineral of Soarland.
  • McCoy elected

    McCoy elected
    In 1770, Soarland switched their government from Monarchy to Democracy. They elected Brady McCoy as president. McCoy was a part of the expidition that discovered soarland. The rest of the 13 explorers settled as judges.
  • War of 1796

    War of 1796
    In November 1796, the country of Andorra tried, and failed to conquer Soarland. It was a bloody battle that lasted till 1799; The longest war of Soarland. It ended Febuary !799.
  • Death of Thomas James

    Death of Thomas James
    Tom James was a president of Soarland for 5 and a half years. He was re-elected once. He was president 1798 through 1803. In his last year of office, he died in a mine explosion at his son's mine. He died at the age of 49 years old.
  • Glory day

    Glory Day was when a group of miners struck gold at Thomas James's recognition mine. It was also the same day when Egypt surrendered to the war that was going on there. It was a glorious day for all, and is still celebrated today.

    On the second Wednesday of every month, Predident Brookehaven would take a day off, to stay with his family. Starting in 1923, every second Wednesday of the month would be off from school, and work.

    on july 11th 1963, disaster struck. A Tsunami and earthquake hit Soarland. 227 people died and hundreds were injured. It was the worst natural disaster on Soarland soil. It will always be remembered.

    On June 1st 1978, the Soarland government decided to switch to the british currency (Pound sterling They asked the president and he agreed. It was now the Pound Sterling currency in Soarland
  • Statue of Peace

    On October 27th 1993, Italy finished building the Statue of Peace they had been building for us, for years. Every year, people celebrate 'Peace Day' in honor of the statue.
