  • The first Radio

    The inventor or person who got the fame for was Marconi an italian inventor. Sent the first radio singal in 1895. And he probably didn't make this.

  • Audion Tube

    The addition of this device gave radio the ability to be heard from longer distances. Believed to be invented by canadian inventor but was taken by Reginald Fessenden. And he still didn't get into history.

  • The Titantic

    When the titantic left for new york they had radios on there so they all didn't die. When the Unsinkable ship sank they used the radios to call for help. Thats how radios saved people.

  • First radio stations

    The first of many radio stations was KDKA. The host was Frank Conrad. Still around today in pennsylvania.

  • Personal radio Stations

    The name of personal station is an uncle Charlie. These people just bought the radio equipment then just did random things with it. This led to the creation of the Fsa

  • Dawn of Advertising

    Now to the golden question how do they make money. Well they do advertising or random donations. And it was cheaper then now.

  • What the Letters Mean

    W means east of Mississippi (why not west).
    K is west of Mississippi(why not E for east).
    So they can control the radio.

  • The Birth of FSA

    People had lots of personal radio stations which made signals hard to read so the government made the Fsa. That led to breaking the personal radio stations thought force. They started making rules to the radio stations and how they work.

  • Fm Waves

    This part is where the music is played. FM stands for Frequency Modulation. It has a low frequencey of 88MHz-108Khz.

  • Am Waves

    This is used for talking not music back then.Has a high frequency of 535KHz-1605KHz. and Am stands for Amplitude modulation.

  • Radio Golden Era

    This era of radio before Tv was 1930-1940.It was great during the despression.Then tragic events unfolding making radion die down.

  • Family Time

    The radio was a Tv (so sad) for them. It is thge same as tv except it had little storys.And was probably more child appropicate then today.

  • The Guitar Player Bo Diddley

    The legendary guitar player who got famous off the radio.Did alot in his life and popular world wide. Died on june 8 2008.

  • Elvis

    Got famous off the internationol station. Did lots of movies and made songs. Died of suicide.

  • The Rightous Brothers

    Got famous in 1962 which helped save the radio. And since people are cheap they listened to the radio. Are deceased on 11/3/2003
