In 1837 he made the first practical photographic process, he named it the daguerreotype he showed his invention publically in 1839. -
Henry fox talbot made a different proccess on photographic proccesses called the calotype.
This proccess was much more confusing compared to Louis dagguerres one. -
The first camera invented by Alexander Wolcott
Unlike other photographic processes and other attempts at the camera as we call it now, Alexander Wolcott made a device tat took photos that did not disapear. It is also the first patented camera not the first camera ever. -
