made toys, cooking utensils, containers, and a host of other products easily and cheaply out of plastics. The plastics industry boomed."(Pearson,194). plastic was a big deal when it was perfected. The more products that could use plastic the cheaper stores could sell the items. -

"The space race of the 1950s, 1960s, and early 1970s was intensely competitive.Both the United States and the Soviet Union competed to reach the moon and beyond. Both nations developed manned and unmanned space programs. Although the space race was competitive, it carried the seeds of global cooperation"(Pearson, 941). The space race was a competition but it also has important use to exploring space. the completion was almost like a motivation to keep trying to get a spacecraft to the moon. -

"On September 11, 2001, the United States faced its most direct threat from terrorist attack when 19 terrorists hijacked four commercial airplanes."(Pearson, 953). not everything that happened was for the good or globalization, this attack caused major red flags that the government had to take care of. becasue of this attack we have been making our world saver with new laws and safety precautions that help our world today.
