The Hansa Canon was invented in February 1936. Someone named Nippon Kogaku was responsible for making the lens, the lens mount, the optical system of viewfinder and the rangefinder mechanism. But Precision Optical Instruments Laboratory was responsible for making the main body of the camera. -

The Instamatic Camera is invented!
The Instamatic camera was an inexpensive, easy-to-load camera made by Kodak in 1963. The Instamatic was immensely successful, introducing a generation to low-cost photography. The lead designer for the Instamatic program was Dean M. Peterson. -
The EasyShare Z915 is released!
Kodak released a new digital camera called the EasyShare Z915. It was demonstrated at the stand of Kodak at the International Exhibition of RMA in 2009 in Las Vegas.
