Driving a stock Imperial touring car, he launched out on a record breaking 702 ­mile speed-endurance run between Denver and Kansas City in June 1926 in which the Imperial covered the distance in 13 hours and 56 minutes.

    The Convertible Spring 1997 saw the introduction of the 2.5-litre 323i engine which replaced the 320i in47. All models got a minor makeover in September 1997 that included equipment upgrades and subtly different front end treatment. A sequential manual gearbox option for the M3 Evolution was introduced in January 1998 but rvived until early 2000 when it was replaced by a Convertible version of the E46 series.

    The convertible conversion was done by Granduer Coach builder in Florida before it was sent to the dealer where it was sold as new. From what I have researched and gleaned from people familiar with these cars is that there were only 200-500 Celica convertibles made from this coach builder. convertible conversion So I guess that makes this a very rare car, especially when the 5 speed manual transmission is factored in with the red paint.

    The standard engine is a 60-degree 4.0-liter SOHC V-6. It replaces the 3.8-liter 90-degree pushrod engine in the 2004 model. The 210-horsepower, 240 pound-feet engine - gains of 23 horsepower and 15 pound-feet over 2004 - is inherently smoother and more compact, providing more power and torque. They come with standard 16" wheels. An Exterior Sport Appearance Package is an option, and includes a rear spoiler and sport tape stripe on the lower rocker.
