Jordan meets Gatsby in Louisville
Jordan sees Gatsby and Daisy together in Daisy's white roadster, and Daisy tells her to tell the red cross she won't be in to make bandages that day. "The officer looked at Daisy while she was speaking, in a way that every young girl wants to be looked at sometime, and because it seemed so romantic to me I have remembered the incident ever since. His name was Jay Gatsby." -
Daisy and Tom get married
"Tell'em all Daisy's change' her mine. Say: 'Daisy's change'her mine!" The night before Daisy's wedding Jordan finds her drunk, crying over a letter she scrunched up. The next day she marries Tom. -
Tom gets into car accident... with Chambermaid.
"A week after [Jordan Baker] left Santa Barbara Tom ran into a wagon on the Ventura Road on night, and ripped a front wheel off his car. The girl who was with him got into the papers, too, because her arm was broken - she was one of the chambermaids in the Santa Barbara Hotel." Jordan is insinuating Tom was cheating on Daisy - that their honeymoon was coming to an end. -

Nick moves to West Egg

Nick goes to the Buchanan's for Dinner
He meets Jordyn Baker there as well, meets Daisy and Tom's daughter, and also learn about Tom having a Mistress and Daisy knowing but not leaving him. -
Nick sees Gatsby reaching for the Green Light
"He stretched out his arms toward the dark water in a curious way, and, far as I was away from him, I could have sworn he was trembling. Involuntarily I glanced seaward - and distinguished nothing except a single green light, minute and far away, that might have been the end of a dock." -
Nick meets Gatsby, then Wolfsheim, then Jordan reveals Daisy and Gatsby's Past
Gatsby and Nick go to lunch in the city with Wolfsheim, and Gatsby tells Nick a fishy story about serving in the war and going to Oxford and winning a medal from Montenegro. Wolfsheim is also a criminal, and in business with Gatsby. Nick then goes to dinner with Jordan and learns of Daisy and Gatsby's history together. -
Daisy and Gatsby Meet
Nick asks Daisy to come over without Tom so Gatsby can meet her. She also gets a tour of Gatsby's house and cries over his "beautiful shirts". -
Nick meets Myrtle and George Wilson
H meets the Wilsons at their Garage, and also goes to Myrtle's New York Apartment. They meet Kathleen Myrtle's sister there, and they get drunk. Tom hits Myrtle and breaks her nose. -
Nick goes to Gatsby's Party
At the Party Nick meets Jordan Baker again and finally meets Gatsby. They meet the Owl Eyed man in the Library who later has a car crash, and we also learn that Nick is going to break off a relationship (that he didn't care about) in order to get with Jordan. We also learn Jordan is competitive, likes to win and is willing to lie/cheat to get it.
