Carraway Moves
Nick Carraway moves from Minnesota to New York to learn more about business. He lives in West Egg next to Jay Gatsby. -
Carraway and Baker
Daisy and Tom Buchanan introduce Nick to Jordan Baker. Where they soon become in a relationship. Baker shares to Carraway that Tom has a lover names Myrtle. -
Gatsby's Party
Carraway gets an invitation to one of Gatsby's parties. He meets Baker there and they both get to meet Gatsby together, Finding out that he is a young, attractive man. -
Gatsby and Daisy
Gatsby tells Carraway that he loves Daisy since long before. He asks him if he could set up a lunch so they could meet once again and hopefully rekindle what they used to have. -
They Meet Again
Carraway asks Daisy to come over for tea without letting her know that Gatsby would be there. They meet again and have a quite awkward while. But after a while their feelings came back. -
The Confession
Tom starts to become suspicious of Gatsby and his wife. Once he figures out the truth on his own, he is very angry and forces everyone to go to New York City and in the Hotel room asks Gatsby and Daisy what is going on. Gatsby confesses, but Tom shows little care and tells everyone that Gatsby's money is all made from a scam. -
The Crash
Carraway, Buchanan, and Baker and leave in one car while Gatsby and Daisy leave in another. Gatsby's car runs over Myrtle and later Gatsby reveals only to Nick that Daisy did it. He took the blame for her. -
Myrtle's Husband
Tom befriended Myrtle's husband,George, a while before. So he tells him that the car owner was Gatsby. George, furious wants revenge. -
Gatsby's Death
One day while at home going for a swim, George somehow shows up at Gatsby's Mansion and shoots him and himself. Nick holds a funeral for Gatsby then heads back home to escape.
