    The Grand Anicut is the first dam to be constructed on running waters. This was constructed by Karikala chola, an ancient ruler. It was constructed using simple mathematical concept called, many to one function.

    The Brihadisvara temple is an ancient temple located in southern part of India. It was built during the 12th century BC by the Chola dynasty. This structure and construction of this temple is a challenge to modern day engineers as it is constructed in zero degree precision. The unique feature of this temple is that it is constructed in such a way that the shadow of the temple don't fall on either side.
